Smarter sites. Safer teams. Stronger projects. Operating across two sites as part of a $14 billion Australian rail infrastructure program.
Helping industries with real-time data to better manage their assets.
Working with major construction and engineering providers, asset operators and major infrastructure programs across Australia.
A Tier 1 Australian contractor, working with a major systems integration consortium, needed real-time visibility across one of Australia’s largest active rail infrastructure programs. The brief was clear.
› Improve productivity.
› Reduce delivery costs.
› Strengthen safety outcomes.
› Deliver real-time operational insight to the people making decisions on site every day.
› Ensuring safe public access and amenity during the construction period.
Meshed delivered the end-to-end Smart Construction Kit at two rail intersection locations. GPS sensors on crane jibs measured lift movements and concrete pad placement times in real time. The data flowed into AVEVA PI, then into Power BI dashboards used by project leadership.
The Kit included industrial grade battery operated sensors for:
Weather, rain, air quality, dust and noise.
GPS tracker fixed to crane jib to predict construction end date.
GPS truck movements in and out of site.
Pedestrian and cycle path movements around sites.
Asset tracking on fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
Machine voltage and vibration monitoring (generators, pumps, compressors)
More accurate completion forecasting across both rail intersection locations
Predictive maintenance on critical machinery, reducing unplanned downtime
Lifting efficiency analysis that informed crane scheduling
Real-time progress reporting to project leadership
Each area below is a point where program leadership, site teams, sustainability and procurement stop running on yesterday’s numbers and start working from the same live feed.
Know where every generator, pump, lighting tower, compressor and high-value tool is, in real time.
Monitor concrete curing, slab moisture, tilt, movement and vibration in real time.
Continuous monitoring for dust, noise, weather, water quality and runoff.
Smart metering across temporary water, power, fuel and waste services.
Sensor coverage during fit-out, commissioning and staged handover.
Vehicle, delivery, material and workforce flow data across active sites.
Battery-powered sensors collect data from across your site. They run for years on one battery and survive the conditions a construction site throws at them.
LoRaWAN carries the data across long distances, through structures, into compounds, along rail corridors. No cabling, no mains power.
Data flows into the Meshed cloud platform, encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in Australia.
Live dashboards integrate with Power BI, AVEVA PI, BIM, CAFM, CMMS and BMS systems your teams already use.
The hardware is the layer that touches the physical world. Sensors on cranes, slabs, compounds, tools, generators, water mains, dust monitors. Each one designed to operate in conditions where a tablet would not survive a week.
The Meshed dashboard is the layer that turns sensor data into decisions. Project directors see program-level KPIs. Site managers see live operational alerts. Sustainability teams see ESG evidence ready for reporting. Procurement sees asset utilisation across compounds.
Together, they replace clipboards, manual inspections and disconnected subcontractor data with one continuous record of what is actually happening on your site.
You will be given access to 24/7 cloud hosted dashboard where both meta and payload data is viewable. Alerts, triggers, and notifications can be easily set via the alerting function of the dashboard. Automated reports can also be set up, and the data can simultaneously be sent to your own systems.
Seamless integrations to customer systems such as BIM, Power BI, AVEVA PI, CAFM, CMMS, Asset Management and BMS platforms used by the industry. Custom integrations are part of the standard delivery, not a separate engagement.
All data is hosted in Australia, encrypted in transit and at rest. You retain full ownership. Role-based access controls let you decide who sees what, by site, by zone, by data type.
The sensors and gateways of the Smart Construction Kits are pre-configured for all use cases. A typical site is operational as soon as the sensor is placed on the asset, data will immediately flow. No cabling, no mains power, no rip-and-replace.
Yes. Many of our deployments transition from temporary construction monitoring into permanent operational asset montioring. Water metering, energy monitoring, occupancy analytics and predictive maintenance carry forward with the building, not the project.
Yes. The sensors are battery operated and highly portable. The LoRaWAN gateways can be mains powered or solar powered, and can also be moved from site to site.

She has spent the last decade working with Tier 1 builders, infrastructure operators and government on how connected sites change project delivery. Book 15 minutes and she will show you what is possible on your next program, using your context, not a generic deck.
Direct to the Meshed deployment team. No sales handoff, no qualification call.
We have packaged the connected site deployment into a comprehensive overview. How IoT in construction translates to better decisions, what gets measured, and the outcomes our customers report on.
